Mayor de Blasio slammed the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus outbreak as “malpractice” on Friday, reinforcing his call for the feds to allow the city to test cases as officials await results of suspected infection in the five boroughs. Hizzoner said a determination on the city’s eighth suspected case – after seven others came back negative for the deadly virus in recent weeks – would come back sooner if the Centers for Disease Control allowed municipalities to do the test themselves.
